Sand Casting

Sand casting is a method applied based on the principle that molten metal which is prepared in melting furnaces is poured into molds formed by compacting the sand around a model.

Pig iron
PIG CASTING (Lamellar graphite cast iron) The lamellar graphite cast iron is a type of cast iron in which the most of carbon available in its composition is found as graphite flakes after setting.

In Dikkan, nodular casting in material grade numbers EN-JS 1025 and EN-JS 1030 is mainly performed, and it is possible to manufacture the ones in other material grades.

Steel
STEEL CASTING It is an alloy of iron and carbon which includes 2 carbon in its structure. Steels are classified in various ways depending on their production methods, alloy states, metallographic structures, physical and chemical properties. The steel casting in grade GP240GH (GSC25) is mainly performed within Dikkan.
Stainless Steel
STAINLESS STEEL Stainless steels are Fe-Cr-Ni alloys containing more Cr and Ni as well, and have corrosion resistance higher than unalloyed steels. Stainless steels are divided into five main groups depending on their crystallographic structures as follows: martensitic, ferritic, austenitic, duplex and precipitation hardening. Within Dikkan, the stainless steel in grades 1.4408, 1.4409, 1.4308 and 1.4309 are mainly performed.
